Peck's Skipper (Polites peckius)

Found somewhat locally in the NC mountains and from a few scattered northern piedmont locations, Peck's Skippers probably have three broods in NC from May into Sep.
Zhang et al (2022) provide genomics evidence that the North American populations of Peck's Skipper should be treated as Polites coras, not Polites peckius, however I am not making that wodespread change on this page yet.
