Fawn-spotted Skipper (Cymaenes isus, C. trebius, C. odilia)

In the US uncommon to locally common and found only in southern Texas. The taxonomy of the US population of this taxon has been dynamic the last couple of decades, as indicated by the number of scientific names above. Zhang et al. (2022) show that the population of this taxon in the US should is C. isus, rather than C. trebius or C. odilia.
