Also referred to as Carolina Silverbell (Halesia carolina), these native, spring-flowering trees are found in rich woods and bottomlands, often near streams, in the NC mountains & piedmont.

Generally listed as growing to ~10m, we recently found some individuals nearly 20m tall.
