Both Radford (RAB) and Weakley's Flora state that the perianth is unspotted in Prosartes lanuginosa, but this isn't P. maculata, which has white petals with heavy spots. Could this be a hybrid between P. lanuginosa and P. maculata or a new variety of P. lanuginosa ? Clay Co., NC13 May 2006 | |
