Eastern Milk Snake (Lampropeltis triangulum triangulum)

In NC, this subspecies is found in the mountains. Milk snakes are non-venomous, beneficial constrictors that eat lizards, small snakes, and rodents.

In MI, where this individual was found, they are common throughout the lower peninsula.
