While this could be a Callippe Fritillary, the elongated ventral hindwing spots suggest Edward's.

Steve K. suggests this could be a Coronis Fritillary, but it's difficult to tell from photos. According to Steve, Coronis Fritillaries in Montana are rare west of the continental divide.
